We are a very social and supportive club of a wide range of sports and activities for all ages. With an active set of members we are proud to offer sports at all levels including Cricket, Hockey, Rugby, Squash and Tennis. We also have a very active Activity Club offering a range of sessions including Aerobics, Ballet, Belly Dancing, Boxercise, Private Training, Yoga and many more. We also have a Bridge Club meeting weekly and have facilities for Table Tennis and rooms for hire. On the social scene we have regular events in our well sized and provisioned bar, including quiz nights, disco's, seasonal events and the annual balls.
Our membership rates are extremely competitve, with good multi-sport incentives. So why not come along and see for yourself or visit below for more details on each club. It's official, HuntswoodStock is ON. Enjoy LIVE Music and All Day BBQ at this fantastic fund raising event. Proceeds will be split between HELP for HEROES and FCSC. The date for your diary is Saturday 23rd June 2012 and there will be Beer, Wine and Cider Tents as well as local craft stalls and attractions for young and old with foods from around the world and a massive list of bands to provide the entertainment.
Tickets are ONLY available from the website so don't miss the deadline, you will NOT be able to turn up and pay on the day. Adults £25 Child £10 (under 13 as of 23rd June 2012) Camping £10 (pitch from 12:00pm on Sat 23rd, leave by 12:00pm on Sun 24th) Doors open 12:00pm on Saturday 23rd June 2012 Music from 2:00pm through to Midnight on Saturday 23rd June 2012 Bands will include Powercake, Rodney Branigan, Mercia, Mamma Flyers, Hired Gun, The Bonus, Unique, The Fire (Jimi Hendrix Tribute), Dead Fonts, Django Rheinhardt Quartet, Shame, Steph Willis and Bulldog Gravy. Introducing Stephen Wright as our new FCSC Tennis Coach
We are pleased to welcome our new New Head Tennis Coach at Farnham Common Tennis Club, Stephen Wright.
Stephen Wright has attended the LTA Senior Performance Coach Course. He also holds the USPTR Instructor qualification. He commences coaching at Farnham Common Tennis Club in 2012. Before joining us Stephen was part of Stirling Universities International Sports Scholarship Programme. He toured Arkansas and Texas in the USA playing some of their top tennis Universities. He also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Studies, specialising in Entrepreneurship. Tennis has taken him to many parts of the world, helped him maintain a high standard of fitness and provided him with the opportunity to meet many interesting people. His aim is to build a strong core of enthusiasts at Farnham Common Tennis Club who will enjoy tennis all of their lives. The new Tennis Programme started on Friday 24th February 2012, more details available via the Tennis Section website.
